Judith Cullivan artwork is inspired by the Irish and French countryside. It showcases her unique style and artistic vision, utilizing pen and ink, watercolour and chalk pastel, to create beautiful and intricate pieces. Every stroke of the brush tells a story, transporting you to a world of wonder.

She works extensively in watercolour and chalk pastel.
Judith obtained her degree in Environmental Design from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
She continued her studies at The National College of Art and Design in Dublin where she studied Fashion Design, after which she worked under her own label selling her textile designs to the fashion industry.
Judith returned to painting and illustration while her children were  young and found an outlet for her work in the greeting card industry.

More free time in recent years has enabled Judith to concentrate on her painting and create scenic pictures.
A keen photographer, Judith has had the opportunity to travel extensively and has taken advantage of this, creating albums of images from which to draw inspiration.

Her love of pastels dates back to when as a young design student, she acquired her first collection of chalk pastels. She was immediately drawn to the colour intensity of the pure pigment and has loved painting with them ever since.
Watercolour painting is something she has done since she was a child, when her father put a brush in her hand and painted along side her and as the years went by encouraged her to practice.
Judith has exhibited extensively in Ireland having been part of the Kildare Artists and also Rianta artists.

In recent years, she has had an exhibition of her paintings at the Château Talleyrand in Chalais south western France.
She has had her work selected many times by Pastel En Perigord in the Dordogne and most recently has had pastel paintings selected for Pastel d’Opal in Boulogne sur Mer in Northern France.

Judith tries to draw, sketch or paint every day.
